*Granizar is a handsome Classical pure Spanish Stallion with a very valuable pedigree, as both his Sire and Dam are National Champions.*Granizar's sire Ghadames was Supreme National Champion of Spain, Nations Cup Champion Stallion and Get of Sire. His dam, the beautiful *Kadina SSB, was Champion Mare of Spain and is the paternal 1/2 sister to the legendary mare *Estopa, as they were both sired by the great Tabal.
*Granizar and his pedigree are rich in athletic ability and correct conformation. Although his get are few, all that have been shown have been multiple champions in a variety of fields including Halter and Performance. *Granizar himself was on his way to a successful show career until an injury prevented him from continuing in his competition. However, he has ribbions in Halter and Native Costume and was Regional Reserve in English Pleasure. Many of *Granizar's get have been shown in open shows, suprisingly competing with Warmbloods, Thoroughbreds, and Quarter Horses. Their championships include Halter, Dressage, Huntseat, Hunter over Fences, Trail, Western Pleasure, Gymkhana, and Barrel Racing.
 In 2009,*Granizar's get took the Sport Horse National's by storm. His son, the pure Spanish colt, Czantiago (*Granizar X Pasion S) was US NATIONAL Champion Jackpot colt and Supreme SHN Champion 2 YR. OLD. *Granizar's daughter, Cleopattraa (*Granizar x *Jezabel SSB +//), a pure Spanish filly, was US National Top Ten 2 yr. old Jackpot filly, tied for Reserve Champion 2 yr.old filly.
*Granizar stamps his get with beautifully set necks, laid back shoulders, strong hips, length of croup, and long straight legs.Additionally, he adds refinement and all around elegance to his offspring. His foals are correct, intelligent, and easy to train, as well as possessing loving, trusting personalities that even a child will find easy to handle and ride.
*Granizar is a true sire of Champions. Summerwind Spanish Arabians is thrilled to incorporate the precious bloodlines of such a fine older gentleman into our breeding program. We are very much hoping for a *Granizar son from either EC Oral or Cia HA in 2010, to serve as an outcross stallion for our Sasakis Samurai and Sidsaki daughters in the future in an attempt to preserve the rare bloodlines of such an influential stallion with so many of the "Old Greats" represented up close in his pedigree.
SIDSAKI is a straight Spanish son of the recently deceased Spanish star *SASAKI. His classic heritage also features lines to National Champion producers *SIDI BRAHIM and GG CATALANA and National winner sire *CIATO. His future as a breeding stallion should be very bright!
SIDSAKI is by is by 1985 Region 1 Top Five Stallion and National winner sire *SASAKI, sire of U.S. Top Ten Futurity Filly SA AZALINA, Canadian Top Ten Futurity Colt LANTZ, U.S. Top Ten Futurity Colt BAMBOOKI, U.S. and Canadian Top Ten Gelding KOJI, and A FANCY MIRACLE, dam of multi-National halter winner QUETZALLI and of multi-U.S. National Champion Stallion and leading sire MAGNUM PSYCHE. *SASAKI is a full brother to *LA SAGURO, sire of Region 14 Reserve Champion Mare AVELLANA, dam of U.S. Top Ten Sweepstakes and National winner producer MARAKITA (herself dam of U.S. Top Ten Gelding and regional country pleasure winner MARAKESHH and of Region 14 Top Five Mare SHAHMAANS SARITA). *LA SAGURO also appears close up on the dam side of 2007 U.S. Top Ten Working Cow Horse Futurity winner SUENO ARGENTEO HA.

to halter and western pleasure champion DON DE LANTE (who is sired by a full brother to *SASAKI out of a daughter of JALEAS ET) and
to Region 14 Reserve Champion Mare and National winner producer AVELLANA. He is a paternal brother to National winners in halter and
comes from a highly successful female family as his dam has founded a 3 generation line of National winner producers and his maternal
granddam produced 5 champion producers, 2 of whom are also National winner producers, and 2 of them produced 4 or more champions apiece. This is the heritage of a breeding stallion, especially one suited to sire sport horses as there are many connections to national
champion sport horses in his ancestry. []
